Aimee expresses herself through bold, joyful, and deeply imaginative creations. Diagnosed with autism at 2½ years old, and non-verbal, she has developed a powerful and personal way to connect with the world—through art. Aimee's distinctive style transforms everyday scenes into something magical. Animals, flowers, people, and objects are reinterpreted with quirky perspectives, dynamic lines, and an uninhibited use of colour. Each piece offers a glimpse into how Aimee sees and experiences the world—vivid, playful, and entirely her own. She discovered her love for art in school, where creativity became a meaningful outlet. Over time, it has grown into a vital part of her life—a space where she can focus, explore, and communicate without needing spoken language. "I was diagnosed with autism when I was 2½ years old. I am non-verbal, so I can’t speak much, even though I try very hard to communicate. Sometimes the messages in my brain get mixed up. I might speak in my own 'Aimee' language, twirl my fingers, or need time alone. Certain sounds—like whistling or high-pitched voices—really hurt my ears. As I grow, I’m learning to adapt, focus better, and share more of myself. Art helps me do that. I love creating colourful, quirky scenes, and I hope you enjoy them too." Through her artwork, Aimee shares her world in a way that is uniquely hers—full of colour, curiosity, and connection.
